Terms of Service

These Terms are an agreement between you and Duo Dev Technologies (2/45, JJ Colony, Near Common Service Centre, Mettupattithathanur, Salem, Tamil Nadu 636103, India), which runs DD Games at games.duodev.in (the "Service"). By using the Service, as a guest or with an account, you agree to these Terms, the Community Guidelines and the Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

These Terms are published under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules made under it, and are an electronic record that needs no physical or digital signature.

• Anyone may play as a guest. Accounts, global chat, online play with strangers and invites are for people aged 13 or older.
• If you are under 18 (or under the age of majority where you live), you may create an account only with the agreement of a parent or guardian, who accepts these Terms for you and is responsible for your use.
• You may not use the Service if we have banned you, or if the law where you live doesn't allow it.

• Give a real email address you control, and keep your password and sign-in methods secure. You are responsible for what happens in your account.
• One account per person. Don't share, sell or transfer accounts, and don't create extra accounts to dodge a ban or to collect rewards.
• Your display name, @username and avatar must follow the Community Guidelines. We may change a username that breaks them.
• If you sign in with Google, Discord or Microsoft, their terms also apply to that sign-in. You can disconnect them in Settings, as long as you keep one way to sign in.
• Tell us at support@duodev.in if you think someone else has used your account.

• Gems are a virtual currency you earn by playing, completing daily puzzles, login streaks, quests, badges and invites. Gems can't be bought with money today.
• Gems and shop items (avatars, frames, card backs, skins, emote styles, titles, helpers and similar) have no cash value. They are not your property: we grant you a personal, non-transferable, revocable licence to use them in the Service. They can't be sold, traded, transferred between accounts or exchanged for money or anything outside the Service.
• We may change prices, rewards, item availability and how Gems are earned, and we may correct balances or items given by mistake or through a bug.
• Rewards obtained by cheating, bugs, automation, fake or duplicate accounts, or abuse of invites, streaks or quests may be removed, and the accounts involved may be suspended. Invite rewards are paid only for genuine new players and are subject to the monthly cap shown on your Invites page.
• Gems and items are lost when an account is deleted or permanently banned, or if the Service closes. We don't owe a refund or compensation for them.

If we ever start selling Gems or items for money, additional purchase terms will apply and will be shown before you buy.

You agree not to:

• cheat, use bots, scripts, macros or modified clients, or exploit bugs (report them to us instead);
• harass, threaten, bully or impersonate anyone, or post hateful, sexual, violent or illegal content;
• post anything that is defamatory, obscene, invasive of someone's privacy, harmful to children, or that infringes someone's intellectual property;
• share personal information about yourself or others in chat (phone numbers, addresses, social media handles of minors and so on);
• spam, advertise, or link to scams, malware or other sites;
• use the Service for gambling, betting or any real-money wagering;
• attack, overload, scrape or try to break into the Service, other accounts or our systems;
• do anything that breaks Indian law or the law where you are.

The Community Guidelines explain these rules in more detail.

• You keep the rights to what you write or draw (chat messages, Quick Draw drawings, bios, room names). You give us a worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, show, moderate and store it as needed to run the Service.
• Chat is checked automatically for abuse and can be reported by players. We may remove content and act on accounts as described in the Community Guidelines, without notice where safety requires it.
• We are an intermediary for content posted by players and don't check it in advance. We remove unlawful content when we become aware of it, as Indian law requires.

We may warn, mute, suspend or ban accounts and devices that break these Terms or the Community Guidelines, remove rewards gained by breaking them, and refuse service to anyone, as the situation requires. Serious harm (for example threats, child safety or illegal content) can lead straight to a permanent ban and a report to the authorities.

If you think a decision was wrong, email privacy@duodev.in within 30 days with your @username. A person will review it.

• You may embed games and daily puzzles on your website using the code from our Embed our games page, free of charge.
• Keep the embed as provided: don't hide, alter or cover the game, the DD Games badge or its links, don't frame other pages of the Service, and don't imply that we endorse your site.
• Don't embed our games on sites with illegal, adult, hateful or misleading content, or where they are used for gambling.
• We may block any site from embedding, or change or stop embeds, at any time.

The Service, including its software, game implementations, artwork, sounds, text and the DD Games name and logo, belongs to Duo Dev Technologies or its licensors. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Service for your own entertainment under these Terms. Other names and trademarks mentioned on the Service belong to their owners; see the Disclaimer.

The Service shows ads from Google and links to other websites, and offers sign-in with Google, Discord and Microsoft. We are not responsible for third-party services, ads or sites, and your use of them is under their own terms.

The Service is free and provided for entertainment. We may add, change or remove games and features, reset leaderboards or seasons, and pause or end the Service, with notice where reasonably possible. Online matches can end when we update or restart our servers.

To the extent the law allows, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, including that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that games, rankings or bots will behave in any particular way. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that can't be excluded.

To the extent the law allows, Duo Dev Technologies and its team are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for loss of data, Gems, items, progress, profits or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim about the Service is limited to INR 1,000 (or the equivalent in your currency). We don't exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that can't be excluded by law.

If you break these Terms or the law, or infringe someone's rights through your use of the Service, you agree to cover the reasonable costs and losses this causes us, including legal costs, to the extent the law allows.

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time in Settings → Your data. We may suspend or close your account as described in section 7, or if we stop offering the Service. Sections 4, 6, 9 and 12 to 16 continue after the agreement ends.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Salem, Tamil Nadu have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute about them or the Service. If you live outside India, you keep any mandatory protections and rights to bring a claim that the law of your country gives you. Before going to court, please email us so we can try to solve the problem.

We may update these Terms. We will change the "Last updated" date and, for changes that affect your rights, ask signed-in players to accept the new version before they continue. If you don't accept, you may delete your account. Continuing to use the Service as a guest means you accept the current Terms.

• These Terms, the Community Guidelines and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and us about the Service.
• If any part is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. If we don't enforce a right straight away, we don't give it up.
• You may not transfer your rights under these Terms. We may transfer ours to a successor of the Service.
