The rules that keep games fun and chat safe for everyone, and what we do when they are broken.
Play fair, be kind
DD Games is for everyone aged 13 and up, including younger guests. Win and lose gracefully, keep chat friendly, and treat other players the way you want to be treated. These guidelines are part of our Terms of Service.
Chat, emotes and drawings
Not allowed in room chat, global chat, emotes, Quick Draw drawings, room names or bios:
- harassment, bullying, threats, or targeting someone repeatedly;
- hate speech or slurs about race, caste, religion, ethnicity, nationality, gender, sexual orientation, disability or similar;
- sexual content, and anything sexual involving minors, which we report to the authorities;
- violence, self-harm encouragement, or graphic content;
- spam, flooding, advertising, scams, phishing or links to malware;
- asking for or sharing personal information: phone numbers, addresses, passwords, school names, or private social media of minors;
- pretending to be staff, another player, or a public figure.
Mild trash talk about the game is fine; attacks on a person aren't.
Names, usernames and avatars
Display names, @usernames and bios must not be offensive, sexual, hateful, misleading (for example "admin" or "DD Games Support"), or contain personal information. We may reset a name that breaks this rule.
Fair play
- No cheating: no bots, solvers, scripts, macros, modified clients, or outside help that the game doesn't allow (for example a chess engine in a match or a solver for the daily puzzle).
- No exploiting bugs. If you find one, tell us at support@duodev.in.
- No win trading, deliberately losing to boost someone, or teaming up against others in free-for-all games.
- Don't leave matches on purpose to spoil them for others.
Accounts, rewards and invites
- One account per person. Extra accounts made to farm Gems, rewards or invites, or to dodge a ban, will be closed.
- Invite only real friends. Inviting yourself (for example from the same device or network), buying or selling invites, or using fake accounts is invite abuse: those invites are flagged, not rewarded, and the accounts may be suspended.
- Don't buy, sell or trade accounts, Gems or items, or offer them for real money.
Reporting a player or message
- Report a chat message with the report option next to it: choose a reason (adult content, harassment, hate speech, spam or other) and add details.
- Remove a friend on the Friends page, and turn off friend requests or room invites in Settings → Privacy.
- For anything else, or anything urgent (threats, child safety), email privacy@duodev.in with the player's @username, the game and the time.
Reports are reviewed by our moderators. False or abusive reports are themselves a breach of these guidelines.
What happens when rules are broken
Chat is checked automatically when it is sent, and harmful messages are blocked. Each breach adds moderation points to the player or device; points fade over time when behaviour is good (by default, 5 points a day). As points add up, the response steps up:
- Warning (20 points)
- Chat mute for about an hour (50 points)
- Temporary ban, by default 24 hours (100 points)
- Long ban, by default 7 days (200 points)
- Permanent ban (400 points)
Repeat offences count more. Bans can apply to the account, the device and the network, and serious harm can lead straight to a permanent ban. Our moderators may also act directly on reports, and may adjust these numbers over time. Rewards earned by breaking the rules can be removed.
Appeals
If you think we got it wrong, email privacy@duodev.in within 30 days with your @username and what happened. A person (not an automated system) will review your appeal. We acknowledge appeals and grievances within 24 hours and resolve them within 15 days.
